We lost a Friend

to addiction this year.

I think about him.

How he struggled.  How alone.

I pulled two SoulCollage® cards

while thinking of him.

Not to say everything that came to me,

but there was a luna moth.

And so many dragon flies.

For short lives filled with mighty love.
Transformation.

And wings to heaven.
