Do you know who she is? She's the Angel of Frog Energy. For lifting out of our mud. We all have mud. And if you say you don't, how does the saying go? Then it means you have even more. Something like that. I made a SoulCollage® card recently that I have on my kitchen table at home. At first I thought it was...I am the one who is a helper and being helped. Like it was me leading someone and being led by someone. You know what? Tonight I see that the card is me helping me. I am the one holding my own hand and going. I am the one who sees miracles. The heart in the stone or tree or microscopic clover. Heart clouds. I am the one showing me the miracles. Uncle Daryl Angel finch feather in plain sight. We're making our way. And what I was going to tell you is that the Angel of Frog Energy was accepted into a show at Two Fish in Elkhart Lake. So she will travel this weekend! And I have another Angel at the Dekoven in Racine. See how they're branching out? We are indeed making our way. Blessed be.

Ah! A year has passed since I posted last. Actually more than a year. But who's counting? I have a show coming up at the Lemon Street in Kenosha in April. Collage. Assemblage. I sort of have 3 different paths of work and I'm trying to figure how best to blend them. But I've been thinking a lot about how our work is autobiographical. Mostly. Really. If it's genuine it is. Right? Discuss. So some assemblages. That are whimsical. But me. And figure studies. That are abstract. But me. And maybe my 3 transpersonal SoulCollage® cards. Because "anything you want." Because it matters and it heals. Looking out. Looking in. Me. I love how collage is the great do over. The blessed rearranging. How SoulCollage® lets us shine a light on it and give it a voice so we don't have to fight that thing in our guts so hard any more. So the show will be for the fragiles. For our own stories. For the Angels everywhere. For the Angel that IS you. And me.
